Subjects and visual language
The body expands into space like a thought, simple in outline and difficult to contain. A large seated or reclining figure fills the right half and reaches towards the centre with a rounded beige and grey torso. The yellow oval head, marked by a few facial traces, emerges above the body’s mass; long black contours describe an arm and continue in broad curves across the lower plane. A vertical red band occupies the left, while pale blue and white open the upper area and reddish browns support the base. Disproportion between head, torso and limbs turns anatomy into broad chromatic fields, yet the curved profile retains the recognisability and weight of human presence.
