The Resistant Void

The white void advances into black and resists, irregular as a presence that will not be enclosed. A vast white space opens at the centre, compressed above and at the sides by great black masses with curved, jagged edges. At left, a vertical red and grey band suggests a wall or threshold; small upright nuclei in violet, green and black appear along the pale route, while fine marks and a suspended yellow form gather in the distance. Black strokes descend from above like a curtain, and a white cavity is cut out at right. Depth arises through the alternation of central emptiness and lateral encumbrances: minute presences measure the space without determining its function.
