Subjects and visual language
The vertical composition places simplified violet, green and blue forms against a muted green ground. An intense blue volume occupies the lower area and may be read as a vase; above it, colour fields gather into a vegetal or figural rhythm without fixing a single subject. At lower right, the source photograph preserves the signature and date A. Oppo 61, allowing the work to be dated to 1961. The artist’s title, technique, support and dimensions are not documented; the designation is descriptive and is not attributed to the artist.
